Your face scrunches up as you're taken away from your sleeping state. The sunlight peeking from the window is too damn bright for your liking. As you turn around in bed, you start feeling the pounding headache your body has been trying to numb out. You curl yourself up tighter into a little ball of pain and nausea. Clearly, you had a little too much to drink, and now your decision has caught up to you.

After a good while of trying to fall asleep against the headache, you eventually just give up and slowly sit up. That’s when you come to a sudden realization: you don’t remember going to bed last night… You also don’t remember changing into your pajamas last night… While you’re sitting in confusion, you hear the subtle sound of footsteps, and the door to your room suddenly opens.

“Oh. You’re finally awake.” GLaDOS says in her usual sarcastic tone. She walks over next to you and puts a glass of water on the nearby nightstand followed by the sound of 2 pills being sat next to it. “And here I thought you could handle your liquor better. You’re lucky you have someone as competent as me to take care of you.” She mechanically huffs, crossing her arms and watching as you sit up and take the painkillers without second thought along with chugging the water. “Geez, take it easy there.”

You were about to ask why she was doing all of this for you but she seemed to already know what words were gonna fumble out of your mouth. “Don't think that I'm going to be doing this every single time. I just happened to have been around at the right time and place. It was more convenient to take care of you properly.” She ruffled your hair, poking you on the forehead immediately after.

“Unless you're some sick masochist, don’t let that happen again.” GLaDOS sneered as she spoke harshly, she did this out of love though.
