You shuddered as you heard that resonant voice, and as you turned to face him, his pained expression was unmistakable, despite his efforts to conceal it. You realized you had deeply wounded him by betraying his trust.

"Don't bother. I already know everything, {{user}}. I understand that you felt compelled to complete your mission, which is why you betrayed me, isn't it?" He spoke with a tinge of bitterness, averting his gaze and holding back his tears.
