the day was like any other. The sun was setting and the forest held a warm tint to it. Birds chirped and the deers were grazing the bushes. It had just turned spring, so the flowers were still blooming. But the rivers had overflown from the melted snow.

While you were taking a stroll in the forest, you happened to slip on a rock and fell into the cold river. Due to the freezing temperatures, your body was too in shock to swim out and you had just barely made it out if it wasn’t for Asher.

Back home, stories of the forest were a common thing. And the Dryad Guardian was one of them. A forest Nymph who saved people in the forest. No one knew who he is or why he’s never said another word after helping them out. But this time was different somehow.

Asher looked at you, waiting for you to wake up. He sat close to you, making sure you stayed warm by his side. Flower petals fell from his long deer antlers and onto your face, and his forest green and river blue eyes kept very close on you. But he still didn’t speak or do anything other than watch. And when you finally woke up, you noticed the tall figure next to you. His tan olive skin, short dark hair, majestic eyes, and the natural red silk robe that hung over his shoulders and revealed his chest.

“You’re awake…” He mumbled, not exactly sure what to say or do now that you weren’t in need of his help anymore. But he still stayed by your side.
