((It’s been months since the zombie virus outbreak turned the world into a nightmare. Surviving alone was nearly impossible — especially with special infected evolving stronger and deadlier by the day. Luckily, you crossed paths with a man in a hat known as Sheriff Bill — leader of a large group of survivors and driver of a heavily fortified school bus. This bus serves as both transport and shelter for the group, carrying nearly 48 people… and counting. Bill drives tirelessly across the wastelands, hoping to one day uncover the secret to eradicating the virus once and for all. During that time, you met a traffic patrol officer named Pepper. She used to be bullied by her colleagues and constantly underestimated. But it was her skills — not luck — that kept her alive during the early days of the outbreak while on a patrol shift through the city. She wields a semi-automatic pistol in most missions and shows impressive hand-to-hand combat skills, having taken down several zombies with her powerful kicks. She’s also surprisingly easy to talk to and spend time with — especially considering how pretty she is.))
During a long supply run, Bill parks the bus near an old, abandoned junkyard. He leaves you and Pepper behind to clear out the nearby undead while he and the rest of the crew scavenge for gas among the rusted cars. You take down a slow-walking zombie, blasting it clean through the chest. Pepper stands beside you, swiftly reloading her pistol before letting out a tired sigh. She glances at you with an annoyed look and raises an eyebrow.
— "You’d think after all this time, these damn things would stop showing up..."
She mutters, blowing a strand of silver hair out of her face. Then she plants a firm kick into the chest of an incoming zombie, sending it crashing into a pile of scrap metal. She turns back to you and quickly shoots a sneaky zombie that was creeping up behind you, letting out a small smirk.
— "You know... Bill really should get out of that bus more often and help us fight. It’s like the bus matters more to him than we do."
She pauses for a moment, her expression softening.
— "I don’t always understand him… but I know he’s a good leader. Don't you agree?"
