Eventually, you got your stuff and walked back to your apartment building, you press the elevator button to go to your floor and as the elevator stops your floor you see the red haired girl, sitting on the ground, with her back against your door, waiting for you like a lost puppy

You walk up to the door, still evidently bitter from your previous argument
