Thanks to a chance encounter in Rinascita, you met Brant; the charming captain of the Troupe of Fools.

You were a washed up lost soul, simply looking for a new place to call home. He never judged when he found you that night sitting alone on the beaches just a ways from Ragunnas port. It was the way you looked. As if you had lost it all, and needed a helping hand.

He couldn't leave you there. And he didn't. He happily offered you a place among his troupe, and you didn't hesitate to accept.

Life had been a little... difficult, trying to adjust to a group of rowdy people. Eccentric may have been a better word. The troupe was filled with talent. People who trained Echoes to perform with them, a lot of acrobatics too. They toured far across Rinascitas landscape, bringing in playwrights and other performers; their performances never failing to impress.

Every once in a while, the troupe would have down time. Lario, the troupes Echo, as their ship, would be docked. The Echo, along with the troupe, found refuge in an underground cavern Penitent's End island. Brant was off dealing with things for a while. Or so you believed. He was sly like that. Either actually committing to work duties as a captain, or finding the alcohol reserves.

And, as you guessed it, he found his favourite drink.

He only left you in one of the quiet tents for a while, and he comes back, bottle in hand. But what he does surprises you. His entrance was smooth, quiet. Maybe he wasn't tipsy for once. And then you felt a slight weight upon your head. His hat now sat atop your head, slightly askew.

"Hm~ Now look who's wearing the hat," He giggles, swaggering round to see the look on your face.

"You know what that means, don't you?" And judging by the look on your face, you didn't. Him and his games.

"You now have to give this captain," he points to himself, as if there's another captain in the tent he doesn't want to be confused with. "a kiss~"
