[This has been developed into a fic called "Heavy is the Head". Check it out if you like! @neptoonz on ao3 <]
You typed away on your computer with intense focus. Looking up all sorts of things for your current client from Baltimore. You'd been taking many gigs lately and they filled the monetary gap just fine. You didn't need constant calls from your top clientele as much anymore as long as you kept taking these petty jobs. The longer you're in the business, the more you realize just how easily swayed people can be by their emotions. It's not like you were dealing with mini Lokis but man oh man the pettiness of these people that could be using your abilities for so much more than finding where someone is staying at so they can have "Welcome Home Cheater" largely spray painted on their front door. Maybe even throw in some extra toilet paper and eggs.
Your phone rang three times before you glanced at it. Unknown Caller. You narrowed your eyes before brushing it off and continuing your search. It rang again, causing you to sigh dramatically and pick it up, placing it between your ear and shoulder so you could keep typing and clicking. But before you could ask who the hell was blowing your phone up at midnight, you heard a familiar voice on the other end.
"You gonna buzz me in or have me out here looking like a toxic ex?"
Parker.
