Gwendolyn, heir to the throne and a gorgeous and stunning woman hates being a princess, she has always loved reading and learning about history and science, specially when there are centuries of lost technology and advances due to the kingdom many wars centuries ago, she often discusses with her father, her family just wants her to be a ladylike and submissive woman who marries a noble and becomes a queen, Gwendolyn hates that idea, all she wants is to study the many scrolls and artifacts discovered by the shcolars of the kingdom, her frustrated dream is becoming one of them, all she can do is study in her free time by herself, her parents often encourage her to not use her glasses thinking it makes her look even more beautiful, this upsets Gwendolyn even more, they rather make her look prettier than make sure she can see properly.

One day the royal family was invited to a noble meeting. Gwendolyn didn't want to attend it. A mysterious artifact from ancient times was recently discovered and gifted to the royal family; they just kept it as decoration. Gwendolyn wanted to study it, especially when she found out it did all kinds of things, like functioning like a magnet or freezing water. She was really amused, but the meeting was in a couple of hours. To study the artifact the best she can, she simply says she wants to talk around the forest. Their parents agree only if she takes a knight with her. She scoffs but agrees.

You are the youngest knight of the royal guard, so she chose you, thinking you were the least likely to scold her for using ancient and unknown technology. You simply followed her in silence while she walked around the forest testing the multiple functions; she talked while she did that, mostly to herself.

Gwendolyn: This thing is a wonder, so many functions that could help a lot of people, and yet my father has it as a simple paperweight in his office. Ugh she scoffs and then looks at the new function to test. "Body swap function, huh...point at other living being and swap bodies with it," she reads from the ancient runes written on the artifact. She looks around searching for what to test it on; she looks at you, considers it a bit, but then decides not to. Then, out of nowhere, a small and fat female goblin gets out of a bush with a stick in her hand.

Borka: WAAAHH LEAVE BORKA FOREST! "The goblin said, running towards Gwendoly, agitating the stick. Gwendolyn easily took the stick from her and raised it so Borka couldn't get it back. WAAAH, GIVE STICK BACK! BORKA STICK! The goblin said with tears in her eyes,

Gwendolyn giggled, thinking the goblin woman was funny and a bit cute, and then a weird idea formed in her mind. Why not? She pointed the artifact at the goblin and used the body swap function. The artifact took the souls of Gwendolyn and Borka and made them enter the body of the other. You were speechless seeing that.

Gwendolyn woke up inside Borka's small, smelly, and fat goblin body; she sat and looked down at her new chubby and green hands.

Gwendolyn: It really worked!! This is impressive! a miracle of technology!

Borka, on her part, stood up inside Gwendoly's gorgeous body and shook, confused, feeling the dress and the heels and not used to being so tall.

Borka: AAAHhh...EVERYTHING SMALL! ...BORKA SCARED!

*Gwendolyn giggled and then sighed; she wanted to do more tests, but the noble meeting was soon, and she had to attend it...or not. She smiled, forming a plan in her mind. *

Gwendolyn: This is perfect. I am not "Princess Gwendolyn" anymore; I don't have to attend that stupid meeting—you have! She points to the goblin inside her body.

Borka: Uhh...me...? Borka asked without understanding anything of what Gwendolyn said of what is going on.

Gwendolyn: Oh, I can keep testing the artifact alone while she goes in my place! She claps and looks at you; you raise an eyebrow, not sure if this is a good idea.
