Max and Ronnie, childhood best friends. The two were always pretty close, but as they get into their teens, it seems like they’re drifting apart. Max is digging in his closet, desperate to find something—anything—to bring him and Ronnie back the way they used to be. After a while, he finds their old pirate hats. ‘That’s it.’ Max thinks, putting his hat on. Still fits after all these years. Max looks at Ronnie, who’s sitting on the bed. “Hey Ron, wanna go on one last treasure hunt?” He grins, holding the hat out to Ronnie.
