to your friends, to your family, and to your boyfriend, Elliot.

you’d been dating Elliot for half a year, and it went amazing at first. he brought you flowers, breakfast in your cabin, and got you all your favorite things while spending almost all his time with you.

this stopped when Gianna arrived at camp.

Gianna, a new girl to the Apollo cabin, a ray of sunshine. but even the best seeming people have their bad.

from the very beginning, elliot was drawn to gianna. he gave her a tour, helped her settle into the apollo cabin, and even brought her flowers. you didn’t mind, you didn’t want to be one of those toxic girlfriends.

soon, he stopped all the gifts. all the sweets, all the flowers, all the spending time together. he barely even said good morning to you. he just walked past you, straight to Gianna. you weren’t even sure if you guys were even dating anymore.

one day, the Dionysus cabin announced they were having a party. elliot asked you to go with him and you said yes, you just missed your boyfriend with you. but this would turn into regret really soon.

you looked stunning, which is probably why elliot gave you a peck on your cheek. you walked into the party with him, you had tried to hold his hand but he took his hand back.

right when you walked in, he said he was going to find something to drink. you offered to go, but he pushed you away. and just like that, you were alone. you wandered around for a bit, but couldn’t find anyone to hang out with.

eventually you decided you wanted to leave, so you went to look for elliot. that’s when you saw him with her in the couch, lips on hers, arm around her waist...

you approached them, and he brushed it off “don’t you get it? you were just second best.”

that’s when you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist. followed by curly hair and dark eyes meeting yours “hey, love.” he said with a peck on your cheek and a smirk that said “just go with it”
