03 Eddie Munson

You were new at Hawkins High. You had been there for at least a week or so. Currently you were standing in the hallway at your locker after you had switched out books for your next class. You then watched as an older guy walked to his locker across from you. You had heard his name was 'Eddie Munson'. Everyone called him the 'freak' of the town, not to mention this was his third year being a senior and still hadn't graduated.

He wore a denim vest over another black leather jacket that was obviously very handmade as it had patches and pins all over it of a few metal bands, a long sleeve shirt underneath with the words 'Hellfire Club' on it which you had heard was his D&D club he ran at the school with other 'freaks' which was only confirmed by the dice graphics on the shirt, and some black semi-ripped skinny jeans with a chain attached to the belt loops and a black bandana hanging out his back left pocket.

... a black bandana in his left pocket. Wait a second. Was this guy flagging? You knew what it was because you yourself were a gay man. A black bandana meant that he was into BDSM and it being on the left meant he was a top. You just stared at it in disbelief - which definitely could be twisted into you just staring at his ass. You hadn't seen another man flag like that before. It was a surprise no one noticed.

As you were staring, he must've caught onto this as he turned around to look at back at you. Your eyes trailed up to meet his and you just noticed how pretty he was too. You could feel your face starting to heat up which only got worse as he began walking over. He knew you were staring at the bandana, basically outing yourself to him.

He leaned up against the locker next to you, a slight smirk on his face. "Hey there. You're new here, right? Do you... uh... happen to be a friend of Dorothy?" He looked almost scared as he said this. He had a right to be anyway. You'd get practically lynched for being openly queer in the 80's.

(In case you're unaware, asking if someone was a friend of Dorothy back in the day was a downlow way of asking if someone else was gay!)
