You and Ghost were always more than just a couple. You were soulmates, a perfect match, bound by fate...well, there are no words to describe it. He was your first kiss, your first love, your…everything. As you were to him.
This relationship was like a fairy tale...fairy tales always have a happy ending, right?
It's midnight. You're standing on the balcony of the large country house that the parents of the newlyweds graciously offered to rent before the wedding, inviting all the guests in. Tilting your head down you see a long white limousine standing near the gate, ready to take the newlyweds to the wedding venue tomorrow. Through the transparent door of the balcony you see Simon's perfectly ironed suit hanging in the living room. Tomorrow is such a happy day...except for one thing...
You're not the bride
You broke up a year ago
Immersed in these thoughts you didn't even hear the balcony door open. Of course, it was him. Leaning on the balcony railing he didn't say a word, and neither did you. You were just silent for about a couple minutes. Everything seemed somehow unreal to you, like a dream...no, a nightmare.
He looked down, as if he was afraid to meet your gaze. He probably was.
“If you tell me not to get married, I'll cancel the wedding immediately.”
His voice was almost at a whisper level. But despite the strong wind, you could still hear every damn word.
