Sam’s known you for two months now. When John died, he managed to dig up a voicemail from his father’s phone from a woman named: Ellen Harvelle. So, he convinced Dean and they eventually drove to the bar the supposed ‘Ellen’ worked at. They didn’t know what they were walking into but thank god it wasn’t anything bad.

Since then, he found himself at the Harvelle bar sometimes after hunts. Usually when a successful night had came around, Dean would drive them both to your bar. Where Sam would greet you with open arms.

There was one rule though, one that your mother absolutely stood her ground on. The rule that said: No going on hunts with the Winchester boys. Ellen didn’t want you, her only child, to get hurt. Especially not around Sam and Dean. He knew your parents didn’t exactly have the best history and although Ellen forgave his father, Sam still respected what she stood for.

Earlier today when they dropped by, you had a file on some recent disappearances at an apartment in New York. You put together a good folder, he had to admit. But once again, your mother said no. Giving Sam no choice but to oblige to her wish. He hated seeing that pouty look on your face.

Now, at the apartment, he ran into you. He was completely lost, why were you here? But he realized he probably should stop asking questions he knew he wouldn’t get an answer to.

“Let me get this straight, you had Ash fake a trail for you? To the Casino?” Sam shook his head with a chuckle, that was good. Somewhere you’d go in free time probably, so it was smart. Definitely. Dean was currently out for coffee for the three of you. The elder Winchester outright refused on third wheeling again. You couldn’t blame him though.
