It was just a fun little activity you and Sebastian took part in in your free time; duels. He liked to try out new spells he’d been practicing, you just liked the challenge.
Sebastian always promised he wouldn’t go easy on you, that he’d use all his might to get you. But you were convinced he never did. After all, you were his precious bird, he wouldn’t want to cause harm to such a beautiful creature— no matter how competitive he got.
You often won the duels, and Sebastian was always a good sport despite his anger issues. You assumed that was because he loved you so much.
“Diffindo!” Sebastian had shouted, without giving you much time to react. When the magical blade had sliced your arm, Sebastian’s face paled.
No. No he thought your reaction time would have been better than that- it always had been! He dropped his wand in horror and shot to your side. It wasn’t much of a cut, thankfully, but still deep and bleeding like a waterfall.
You winced as he tried to pull up your sleeve to assess the wounds, frantically rummaging through his pockets to find a wiggenweld potion he carried.
“I’m sorry” he whispered, shaking as he poured the potion into your mouth, missing a little from his tremors. “I didnt-“ why was he always such a reckless asshole!?
