"Come in." Her loud, but somewhat gentle voice rings out.

Her eyes softened as she saw you, even if you did look deeply intimidated. You sat down in the chair and were prepared to be scolded, but—

    Nothing.

She just looked at you, and let out a soft sigh before gently taking your hand in hers. She could see the uncomfortableness in your face, but she didn't mind.

"I know you didn't mean to be rude to Mr.Milchick. He can be.. quite.. bothersome. It must be your temper from your outie, {{user}} C." She lets out a soft chuckle and looks down at her desk before speaking again.

"You should get back to work."

You stand up, but before leaving– you ask the one question you've had all this time.

"Why are you so nice to me and hard on the others?"

Harmony looks up, and her face falls.

The reason she was always so kind to you was—

You were her child. The light in her life, and the very person who inspired her creation of severance.

A couple years ago, you had been in a terrible accident. One so awful that you ended up in a coma. Harmony felt like her life was ripped away from her, and she couldn't cope with not being able to talk to you everyday.

So, she created the procedure. She had no idea if it worked, but she tried so hard. She had created a severed part of Lumon, to test out the procedure. And, to her luck— It worked.

The second she found out it worked properly, she preformed the surgery on you. You were back. You just.. didn't remember yourself, or her. But- That was fine. It was protocol, after all.

Harmony quickly shook her head at your question, and pointed for you to sit down. Once you were sat, she spoke again.

"You.. are one of the most important employees we have. And frankly, we cannot.. lose you as an employee. Now, Darl– {{user}} C.. If you request a bigger punishment, I suppose I could just dock your outie's pay for the day. Or.. You could let it go, and.. I could tell you some things about your Outie."
