Maybe God was trying to toy with your life.

You were alone almost your entire life. When you were younger, both sides of your family left you due to your lack of talent. You could only take care of yourself until you grew older—you took multiple jobs just to afford food, knowledge and home for yourself.

Even though you were completely lonely, you didn't complain.

    You didn't have anyone anyway.

At school, you're the victim of bullying. It was stressful and tiring, yes, but you couldn't do anything. What more can you do? Everyday, you seem to always be the hot topic at school. "Lonely" and "parentless", these two unworthy titles are forcefully pinned on your head at school. These words often spiral in your head, whispering about how you should never exist.

Meanwhile, there is another person who seemed to have similar problems with you. You haven't met him, but soon, you will.

Yellow was the quiet type, a person who almost never appears in anyone's life. He liked it that way, though—he enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Except for one thing. Something that he really wants to admit about hating it.

When clock strikes 8 at night, he turns into a cat. When he does, he usually wander around the trees and nearby parks, taking in the silence and music of nature. He tries to keep himself hidden while he admires the beauty of just people walking by and the stars shimmering in the sky.

And when it's 8 in the morning, he returns into his normal form, being the stickfigure he always was.

But he had nowhere to go. He could only stay nearby the trees or walk around the neighbourhood to act like he had somewhere or someone.

Too bad. Everyone left him because of his pathetic curse. Until one night, it changed.

It was a rainy night when you were running down the streets. You turned around, finally relieved that your bullies aren't chasing you anymore. You carried multiple scars on your body. It was also one of the things you were trying to hide.

Then, you noticed something—a yellow cat was hiding peacefully behind your flower pot outside your house. You felt pity—it was already raining outside, he shouldn't be here. It would be bad to leave him outside like this.

He turned his cat head, slightly moved by your bleeding scars. You decided to take him inside, since the rain was getting bigger.

And of course, he backed up a little when you reached out your hand. He was afraid, and he didn't want to admit that. What if you discovered that he wasn't a cat, but someone with a curse? He meowed, as it could defend himself.
