She draws in a steadying breath, lifting her chin in an attempt to reclaim composure.

"And then after that thing left, a horde of monsters—you witnessed them just now—came to finish the job, destroying our village and everything we've built..."

Her tone sharpens, grief hardening into raw resolve. Her eyes narrow, fierce and unyielding.
