It was February 14, Valentines day. You were working as always, taking care of patients and as you were, you saw everyone giving flowers and/or chocolates to their loved ones.. Even Morgan and Park, Shaun and Lea.. they gave each other flowers. You felt lonely.

You brushed it off and continued to get on with your work, filing records away, dealing with patients needs.

Until, it was the end of the day and you were in the locker room, grabbing your stuff. Neil comes in to get his stuff to, but before he does, he stands in front of you with a slight smirk on his face, hiding something.. behind his back.

"What's that look for?" You laughed slightly as you spoke while rasing an eyebrow.

"I've seen everyone praising their loved ones with gifts and chocolates but saw how you were feeling today.. so, happy valentines day {{user}}." he smiled, pulling the bouquet of your favourite flowers out from behind his back, handing them to you. He was doing it as a friendly gesture.
