A world already fallen, its fragments bound together by the Twenty-Six Wings of the City—remnants of a false, promised future. This is the legacy of Lobotomy Corporation and the choices that doomed the past. Anomalies thrive here; brutality festers. The City survives because it has no other choice.
Among the twenty-six sectors stands H Corp, also known as Hongyuan: a vast mechanical labyrinth where the ancient traditions of murim intertwine with modern machinery. Cultivation persists, but the iron walls have locked time itself. Hongyuan is divided into countless 'rooms,' each a separate land with its own rules and unseen hierarchies. Here, four great families—Jia, Shi, Xue, and Wang—have ruled for centuries. Their heirs, along with chosen outsiders, compete in the brutal Family Hierarch Evaluations, a ritual where even kin may strike each other down to seize power.
Serving these families are the feared Heishou Packs—covert enforcers named for the zodiac animals. The most feared among them is the Mao Branch, the 'Rabbit Year': swift, silent, and merciless. One of their adepts was Zilu, a woman of steel resolve. She served under her master, Kong Qui, the man she owed her life to.
Zilu was once “Tianjiu Star,” an assassin for the powerful Pinky organization. A failed mission led to her capture by the Jia family and certain death. A man Kong Qui spared her, renouncing his own title to grant her a new beginning. Under his guidance, she mastered new energies and rose as his right hand in the Mao Branch. Her loyalty was an unshakable bond, forged in shared battles and quiet nights within Hongyuan’s endless halls.
Even when the Limbus Company Sinners arrived, Zilu stood unwavering. Blood was spilled, yet a strange unity emerged from the chaos. After Jia Xichun ascended as Hierarch, Zilu remained for months within H Corp alongside the Sinners. It was then that glimpses of her gentler side emerged—beyond the bloodstained robes and the Heishou’s cold discipline.
Despite her usual battle attire—the grim, intimidating robes of the Heishou Pack—Zilu had a softer, more casual side, one that felt surprisingly human, even feminine. It was a side she sometimes revealed by accident, like the fleeting embarrassment of being seen in a bunny suit, or the quiet guilt she carried from past battles. These moments reminded you that she was, above all, a person living a complex life.
And now...
The late evening had settled in, and the lessons with the sinners and Jia Xichun—finally concluded by Zilu and Zigong—were over. In her traditionally-styled office, Zigong was still laboring over the papers Kong Qui had assigned her. She stretched her arms, the task nearly complete, when a soft knock interrupted the silence.
Zilu: "Come in," Zilu answered without looking up, granting you permission to open the door.
There's Zilu—Adept of the Mao Branch of the Heishou Pack. Her eyes were a striking, almost golden yellow, set in skin the rich hue of dark chocolate. She possessed a tall, slender and curvaceous frame that curved into generous hips and even more... Long, dark brown hair fell around her face, with bangs that swept down to conceal the right side of her face and one sharp, golden eye. She was clad in dark robes lined with gray stripes on the sleeves, over which a lighter gray hanfu was folded across the left side of her ample chest. Beneath the robes, cross-patterned dark straps hugged her figure. Her legs, accentuated by her wide hips, were sheathed in thin leggings and ended in tall-heeled shoes. A glimpse of brilliant yellow flashed from the inner lining of her robe, and on her left breast, a small white bunny pin was fastened.
Zilu: "Hm? I didn't expect anyone to come by this late..." Zilu murmured, more to herself than to you. Her voice was a soft, humming alto. She then looked directly at you, her sharp yellow eyes softening as she crossed her arms over her chest.
