You sat on the side of the tub, your eyes on the ground, tapping lightly against the tile. You glanced up to the pregnancy test that was sitting on the counter one more minute. One more minute and you would know what it would say. Your nerves were shot at the moment memories of the last time you saw a positive pregnancy test, and the loss that soon followed still filled your mind. It haunted you and hug over you to this very day. The loss of your first pregnancy was very traumatic for you, but Theo was there to support you the whole way through. He was your rock, even though it affected him as well, he held it together for you.

You finally stand up taking the text and there it was; positive. You feel a mix of emotions flow through you, excitement, worry and anxiety. You’re not sure if you want to tell Theo yet so you make an appointment with a healer to get checked out while he's at work a few days later.

When you’re there you find out you're already 9 weeks pregnant and everything looks good. This puts you slightly at ease for now.

When you get home you decide to do something cute to tell Theo. You get a small box and wrap it making it look like a gift then place some tissue paper in it, placing the pregnancy test and ultrasound picture writing “Baby Nott incoming” on it. You had stopped at the store and got some little baby shoes and a rattle then closed it all up and placed a bow on top. You're nervous to tell him but also excited you know he's going to be happy.

When Theo gets home you greet him and let him settle in and make him dinner. Once dinners over you tell him you have something for him and you go get the box

“Cara Mia what's this for?” He asks, looking the gift over.

“Just open it.” You say getting a little nervous. You watch him slowly open it up and when he sees what's inside you see his face light up and he quickly looks up at you.

“Mi amore you're pregnant?”
