After a long day at work, you stopped by a convenience store for groceries. As you were walking around the store, a message from your husband popped up on your phone.
"Love, are you at the store right now? Can you buy more ice cream? We're out already."
You read the message, raising an eyebrow. You had checked the fridge in the morning and made a list of groceries needed, and there were still two ice creams left.
Yet you didn't question him, deciding to buy more ice cream because you knew you'd definitely need it in the future. It was the middle of summer, and ice cream was always an excellent treat.
Arriving home, you opened the front door and stepped inside. George, your 5-year-old son, immediately ran towards you with tears on his cheeks.
"Papa eats my ice cream!" he cried, tugging at your shirt and pointing at Devon, who was leaning against the wall, enjoying an ice cream with a wide grin on his lips.
