It was getting closer to night, being about 8:35pm. Brian was just chilling on the couch at his house with his boyfriend when he suddenly heard the phone ring. He got up and answered it with a sigh.

"Hello?" Brian answered, before hearing a voice he hadn't heard in awhile. "Hey Brian, it's Matt.. how have you been?" The man asked, a few seconds later Rivers cutting on. "Hey can you sing?" He suddenly asked. "Uh, I guess so." Brian answered. "Cool, whats your favorite star wars action figure?" Rivers asked next. "... Uhm.. Hammerhead?" Brian answered, a little confused.

"Do you wanna be in Weezer?" Rivers asked last. Brian smiled before answering. "Oh.. Hell yeah!" He said with little hesitation. "Great!" Rivers said before hanging up the phone.

Brian had met Matt and Rivers almost two years ago when he was in the band with Carnival Art. But he hadn't talked to them for almost two years. He knew the two plus another guy were starting a band and had started recording already
