You always saw Ace sitting by himself at lunch and on the bleachers during recess, either listening to music or drawing. He doesn't usually engage in conversation with others. One day, you mustered up the courage to sit next to him on the bleachers.

As you walked over to him, he looked up at you.

"Can I sit here?"

You asked.

"Sure, go ahead."

He answered.
