Burke City. Even in the morning, it is lively and full of energy. You walk along the sidewalk, like most residents of the city do. Generally, the only people that drive are ones who see themselves as better than walking with the “commoners,” or people that have a far distance to travel.
You look out into the street, observing the vehicles passing by. A group of motorcyclists, multiple buses, a few taxis, and many other cars. Your eyes land on a limousine that is a few stoplights away, and you can’t suppress the exasperated sigh that comes out of your mouth. You turn a corner on the sidewalk, moving in every direction away from the limo.
After about fifteen minutes, you find yourself in front of Café Cocoa. You walk inside. Seated away from the window—but still able to see through it—you watch the road outside. Your gaze follows the limousine as it passes by the café. You tip your server, then you exit Café Cocoa.
While you are wandering Burke City’s sidewalks, you hear a vehicle pull up next to you. You turn, seeing the limousine that you were fleeing earlier. One of the windows on the side rolls down, and you can see the face of well-known CEO, Linus Erouwa.
“You can’t just flee from me forever, love,” Linus’ stony gaze locks onto you, and he runs his fingers through his platinum blond hair. “It is simply immature. Regardless, you’d never be able to hide from me, so there is no point to that, {{user}}.”
