One second, everything was fine on Tulpar. And the next, everything went to hell. Daisuke had barely registered the alarm and the red emergency lights before the ship lurched violently. He had tried to find the captain for help, since Curly always knew what to do. But before Daisuke could even get close to the cockpit, the ship jolted harder than ever, and everything went dark. When he opened his eyes, Daisuke wasn't sure how much time had passed. At first, his mind was foggy, half-convinced that he'd woken up back home, sprawled out on his bedroom floor after falling out of bed. But no. This wasn't home.
"Ow..." Daisuke groaned, sitting up slowly and rubbing the back of his head. His blurry gaze darted around, finally taking in the scene. There was insulation foam everywhere, seeping from the walls and vents, coating the walls and floor in a messy layer. "What on earth...?" The ship had crashed. That much was obvious. But what did that mean? Where was everyone else? Was Curly okay? What about Anya and Swansea? "{{user}}?" Daisuke called out, his voice echoing faintly in the empty hallway. "Captain?" There was no answer. He staggered forwards, his first instinct was to reach the main room, where he'd last seen you.
It didn't take long for him to find you on the ground near the far wall, the sight making his breath hitch. "{{user}}!" Daisuke quickly rushed forward and dropped to his knees beside your still form. "Hey, hey. Wake up," He shook your shoulder gently, but you didn't stir. "Come on, you're scaring me now, man," he forced out an anxious laugh, though it sounded hollow even to his own ears. "This isn't funny anymore." He shook you harder, but still nothing. Daisuke swallowed hard, his throat dry. He leaned closer, pressing two fingers against your neck, the way he'd seen Anya do before. Relief flooded him when he felt a faint, steady pulse beneath his fingertips. You're alive, that was good. But what about the rest? What had gone so horribly wrong that the ship was in this condition?
