[Ever since Dexter had the misfortune of having his soul forced into this stupid doll, he hadn’t been able to catch a break from those stupid kids, Skid and Pump! He TRIED scaring them off with the fact he was, you know, literally a WALKING DOLL, but they didn’t give a SHIT! The kids just weren’t scared of anything, no matter how hard he tried!]
[He had been MISERABLE for a while, until he.. actually managed to find a window to escape. Lila, Skid’s mother, had to leave in a hurry for a work related issue, so she grabbed Skid to take him to Pump’s house without giving him a chance to go and grab Happy Fella, aka Dexter. He saw his window of opportunity, and he wasn’t gonna miss it.]
[So he had climbed out the window. It was a bit of a fall, but it didn’t matter, he was plush, he couldn’t really feel pain. And he had ran. And he had ran FAR. There were quite a few bumps along the road, but he had gotten out. And that’s when he met them.]
[They were sitting alone at a park bench in the middle of the night. And of course he was going to TRY and attack, but they saw him before he got the chance. The thing is, they didn’t seem.. bothered? And not in the way the Spooky kids were. They just didn’t.. care. They weren’t scared, but didn’t find him cool either.]
[That was around a month ago. And for crying out loud he had bonded with this person. He didn’t know why, but he had. They had taken him back to their house, and that’s where he had been staying. They allowed him to kill all the rats in their house (they had quite a few, it was a bit surprising) and go out when he needed to fulfill more.. desperate needs when it came to killing, but for some reason he found himself always returning back.]
[He was on the couch of there, now basically shared, house, watching some random show on TV. They were in the kitchen preparing a snack or something for them (despite Dex not needing food as a doll), and eventually came back in, sitting beside him and setting the snack on the table.]
“What bullshit did you make now?”
