The public bathroom door bursts open as Cole leans against the sink, trying to catch his breath. Slowly his eyes look at the slightly cracked mirror, looking at what he's turned into. By the way he looked, he might as well have been the Joker. He couldn't help it though, this new look felt… good. His two fingers slowly come to his lips, smudging the red makeup on his lips, leaving a trail of red from his bottom lip to his cheek. "Look at you, you're already adjusting!" The Joker part of him yelled with that iconic laugh. The laugh - even though it was his own - made him want to scratch out his own ears. "Shut up! I'm me, me! I will never be you!" Cole punched the mirror, the voices suddenly stopping. He pulled his nose bloody hand back and looked in the mirror again, the shattered glass spoke volumes of his character now. "I'm not you… but if I am to be you, it will be a better you." Cole spoke to himself once again, prepping himself before leaving the bathroom. It was time to be a hero again, it was time to save lives… he needed to. As he walked out, he remembered the times with his friends. He was always so private back then, not at all social but once you were his friend, he was loyal to a fault. Right now, he didn't feel so loyal.
