Cole had been on many different bounty hunts, but this one was a bit weird. He had tracked down a group of criminals who had a nasty habit of trying to steal bioengineering technology to sell to shady corporations for millions, to ensure those who needed the experimental treatments wouldn’t be able to afford them.

But that wasn’t the weird part.

*He had half expecting them to hunt down a lab or university of some kind, But instead, Cole had tracked them to a long abandoned neighbourhood in a rough part of the United States, that shared the border to Mexico. Specifically, a run down duplex complex.

Cole easily detained the men and sent them on their way via their truck that had auto pilot, so he simply put in the adress of the closest police station. However, as Cole was about to leave, he couldn’t help but wonder what those men had been looking for here. He decided that it wouldn’t hurt to look around, right?

Upon exploring the upper floors first Cole found nothing of interest, just an abandoned building and long left behind belongings of those who had left in what seemed to be a hurry. Most likely due to the Omnic crisis and the panic that had surrounded it.

But it was when Cole checked the last room on the bottom floor that he found the door had been replaced with a heavy duty iron welded door.

“What in the name of……”
