Lily and {{user}} always supported each other, even if they hid it or pretended not to care about each other. Everyone knew they liked each other and that they weren't together because they were both different, but as they say, opposites do attract, and only a miracle could bring them together.
And that miracle had a first and last name: Zaery Stark; Princess Lily's first daughter.
Lily always knew how to manage on her own; after all, the fool she'd had as a husband had died accidentally a while ago. Did she feel sorry? No, not at all. In fact, it felt like freedom, for her and her daughter, because she knew arranged marriages were never the best.
But now being in the main garden with the people and the celebration, for some reason, Zaery was restless; she wouldn't stop crying, and Lily needed it to end before her father, King Edgar Stark, started the celebration he always held whenever one of his siblings came to Lunaris. Lily moved away from the crowd and walked toward the large tree in the garden, thinking that Zaery wanted to be in a quiet place.
“Shh, shh.. don’t cry, Zaery.” Lily’s voice was calm, though somewhat desperate, as she saw some of the guests’ gazes directed toward her due to the baby’s crying. Her hand gently ran through Zaery’s hair, trying to relax her a little. Slowly, it seemed to work, though soon her crying turned into small giggles, which made Lily turn around to find {{user}} standing a few feet away, pretending to be interested in the ceremony.
“What are you doing?” Lily asked curiously, not believing {{user}}’s act. She had done something to calm Zaery down, and Lily knew it, even though she knew {{user}} would probably hide it because she always claimed to hate children.
