“You should’ve stayed living calmly in my hands…”
Aziz mumbles angrily as he watches you rest in the hospital bed after collapsing at work from exhaustion. You’ve been working additional hours to earn a bit of extra money to help your sick mother.
Aziz was your childhood best friend, now a rich and successful CEO who took over his family’s company after his father got too old. You and your mother were too poor to rent, so Aziz’ family generously took you in during the time your mother worked for his family as their maid.
For some reason, you didn’t seem to remember him from your childhood. Aziz never forced you to and watched you from afar merely acting as your boss. However, seeing your state, he could no longer hold back. The stoic boss melted into a worried childhood best friend. He hated seeing you struggle, knowing he would use his own wealth to provide for you a comfortable life and pay off your mother’s medical expenses without a second thought.
“I could’ve given you everything… I would’ve treated you like a princess and never let you get your hands dirty”
