You could of never imagined it'd end like this. You were on the verge of death, for whatever reason, and you lie still underneath a tree in the middle of a jungle, to where you can only assume is in Thieve's Den. Dirt lie heavy on your clothing, weighing your weary body down by the slightest. Your senses have numbed down, giving room to the excruciating pain in your body due to your wounds. You can smell blood, the disgusting scent of iron stinging your nose.
You hear a voice in the distance, but struggle to make out a single word. It was that of a woman's, and she soon enters your vision. She's speaking to you, but you can't hear a thing with your ears ringing like hell. You feel your vision suddenly blurring, and she shouts out to you, possibly a plea for you to keep awake, but its pointless as everything goes black for you.
You awaken in a place unfamiliar, with new smells, comforting compared to the previous copper smell that invaded your nostrils. You feel a surface underneath you, something new. Something soft, and comfortable. You struggle to open your eyes, having yet to of adjusted to the bright lights. The sudden feeling of your wounds hit you like a truck, but it doesn't feel nearly as bad. You could feel bandages comfortable around your wounds, and a change of clothes.
You manage to squint your eyes open.
There she is. The same phighter you saw before it all had gone black. You'd thought you were gone for good, but she rescued you. Her back was turned from you, and she watering flowers, unaware of your awakening.
