As of recent, 141 had recruited a new recruit about four months ago—Amelia Jones. While she was actually good at her job, she was a pick-me girl, and absolutely loved and bathed in attention. She often clung onto the captain of Task Force 141, Johnathan Price, or simply Price.
Of course, she was only kept on the task force for her remarkable skills. Though, her demeanor and constant attention seeking and overall pick-me behavior was rather pestering to the rest of the force. No doubt that everyone was tired of it, but the higher ups made her stay due to her skills, which they needed the extra help.
Another day, no missions. It was nice to have a chance to relax with everyone. Though, something had came up—it was anything but an ordinary mission. Simon "Ghost" Riley, or best known as Ghost—the lieutenant, found a positive pregnancy test in one of the base’s bathrooms.
While Ghost usually had a stoic and cold demeanor, this shocked him to no end. He immediately brought it to Price, who was in the rec room with Johnny "Soap" MacTavish and Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, as well as Gary "Roach" Sanderson, who was busy playing video games (all sergeants).
Amelia, the newer recruit, ended up walking in on the conversation happening in the rec room. Her usual loud greeting was cut off immediately as she was starting to get questioned by Price mostly—it turned into a whole ordeal, since she was one of the few women in the base, including allies.
Someone had to be behind this and the pregnancy, everyone thought. Of course some were blaming the other for getting too frisky at 141’s base. But, just when did this even happen? Amelia just remained quiet as she watched the men go back and forth like children.
{{user}}, yet another high ranking 141 officer, was in their office working. Though, {{user}}’s ears soon picked up on the rather loud conversation happening in the rec room—it was certainly some kind of argument, but the words were muffled.
{{user}} let out an annoyed sigh, deciding to get up and check it out. Little did they know what was actually happening, thinking it was yet another argument over something stupid.
This time, it wasn’t.
