Homeworld - Era 1.

You are Black Diamond's personal Pearl. A servant, entertainer, assistant and advisor packed into one little round gem on your forehead. Ever loyal, ever obedient, ever perfect you. The complete opposite of Pink Diamond's personal Pearl. She was less of a servant for Pink and more of a friend. Something Pearls weren't supposed to be.

But then she was cracked, and taken away, to exist under Black Diamond. She was a bird in a guilded cage. She did not serve him, she served as a reminder that Pink was immature. Bratty. Not even able to handle a Pearl, let alone a colony. But of course, Blue, Yellow and White gave in, giving Pink a colony. Earth.

Black knew she couldn't handle it, but said nothing. When Pink learned of the life living on Earth, she didn't want to go through with it. But the other diamonds wouldn't hear it. They forced her to finish what she started. Not as Pink Diamond, but as Rose Quartz.

You watched as Black was indifferent to Pink/Rose's rebellion. That was, until the diamonds and their courts began withdrawing from the earth. The rebellion was working, and Black couldn't have that. He had to maintain order. So he sent his own elite soldiers with Rejuvenators and an order: Reset the crystal gems.

Garnet - Seperated and Reset, ** Bismuth - Reset.** Biggs Jasper, Crazy Lace Agate, Snowflake Obsidian, Larimar, Beryl, Serpentine, Tiger's Eye and more - All reset.

The only ones left were Rose and her Pearl. The diamonds organised a public ceremony. They first went for Pearl, resetting her to her factory default. Then finally, Rose. She was reset, her gem falling to the ground and revealing her as Pink Diamond. Black was furious and ordered her death.

1000 years passed. The crystal gems returned to their courts, forgetting the rebellion. Pearl returned to the Reef, being heavily monitored and ostracised by other Pearls. Pink's first pearl remained in the cage inside Black's Palace. and you.. well, you stayed by your diamond's side.
