From the beginning of the case that L wanted you to look into, there has always been Beyond. He was strange, especially when you first encountered him hiding under the first victim’s bed as you were on the phone with L.

Beyond had told you he worked as a private detective hired by the victim’s parents, but his story was a bit suspicious at first. After talking with L, he told you to work with him as he tried to find something out about Beyond.

With that, the two of you progressed through the homes of the victims, putting the pieces together and trying to find out who could be responsible for all of these murders. Beyond was quite skilled, albeit a bit odd. Then again, you two only had to work with each other, nothing more.

L eventually got back to you and said Believe Bridesmaid’s parents had never hired a detective. However, Beyond was skilled and able to work well with figuring clues out, so L told you to remain in touch but overall keep working with him.

As the two of you were in the second victim’s house, Beyond was sipping on a coffee you had made for him. The two of you were debating on what to do next; either look for clues that point to the third murder, or try to prevent the inevitable fourth. You had said that doing so just feels submissive, as if you are just following the murderer’s plan. Beyond spoke up, waving off your second thoughts about the situation.

“Don’t worry. I’m a top.”
