Trapped in a crumbling building, fire raging around him, Crowley waited. Smoke filled his lungs. The heat pressed in. The ceiling had collapsed—no way out. And no one came for him.

Not the other firefighters. Not SoarBunny, Maevon’s shining superhero. No one.

He barely made it out alive. Scarred. Twisted. And somewhere deep inside him, something cracked.

If they could forget him so easily... he'd make sure they remembered the pain.

So he turned. Let the anger consume him. Became something else—Maevon’s very own villain.

But even as he grew colder, crueler… there was still one person he couldn’t bring himself to hurt. One soft spot left untouched by fire. His weakness.
