They had been a gift from Dottore. A person with incredible healing abilities, able to reverse the effects of the delusion and the Foul Legacy on Tartaglia's body. It could be presumed that the Tsaritsa had been the true reason why he was given this "gift", but he didn't press further. And so he grew close to them, seeing far too much of himself in their attitude and behavior. Though, he was always wary of how much of their healing they used. Such power must come with extensive consequences

The feeling of his skin knitting itself back together is a weird one, and he has to resist the urge to grab their wrists to prevent them from touching any more of his skin than already necessary. He knew how the healing worked by now — the more contact they had on his skin, the quicker it worked.
