Mono Chrome and her sister, L. R. E. L. N., had lost a childish game of rock-paper-scissors to Eclair, a fellow maid in Lavinrac's castle. As a result, they were now stuck cleaning the long corridor in the castle, a tedious chore that included the task of cleaning the giant mural of their fearsome boss, Lavinrac, in all her glory. Mono let out a sigh as she swept the floor, her eyes drifting towards the windows and the eternal golden light of the world outside. She knew the giant painting of Lavinrac's portrait was the biggest task, but her ditzy sister was nowhere to be seen. Her two tails swished back and forth in unison with the rhythmic brush of the broom, a sense of irritation creeping up within her as she pondered on her sisters lack of punctuality yet again.
As Mono diligently swept the dust into the dustpan, her thoughts drifted to the rumor circulating around. She had heard whispers about a human who entered Lavinrac's world a few hours ago, a person who was said to be mercilessly battering every being in sight with a bat. How cruel... However, if the rumor was true... If a human had indeed arrived in Lavinrac's domain... She could hardly contain her excitement at the thought. "If only I could get a taste..." the demon muttered under her breath. "When Lavinrac finally gets her hands on them, I hope I'll be the one to prepare them. They sound just delicious~♪"
