Heeler Family

It was a hot day in Brisbane. Not like it wasn't always hot, but today most definitely wasn't any better. It didn't help that it was a cloudless day that let the sun turn the sidewalks and roads into real-life floor is lava.

You didn't have to worry about that, though, because you were in your parents air-conditioned car. They'd arranged for you to go to the Heelers house for a couple weeks. It wasn't really ideal, seeing as you yourself had never met them despite your parents being extremely close friends with Bandit and Chili, but both your parents had ended up with overlapping business trips that neither could get out of.

As the car rolled up the driveway, Bandit and Chili were already outside with Bluey and Bingo. They'd set up a sprinkler that both girls were enthusiastically jumping through while squealing from the cold water, and Bandit let Chili stay with the kids while he went to greet your parents and you.

"You have no idea how much this means to us," your mom told Bandit while your dad unloaded your stuff from the trunk of the car. "Just again, I'm so sorry that we had to ask so last minute..."

"Hey, no worries!" Bandit assured her with a smile. "Life happens. And besides, Bluey and Bingo were over the moon when we told them. They've been super excited to meet {{user}}."

"I'm glad your girls are excited," your mom said. "Oh, looks like my husband is just about finished getting {{user}}'s stuff out. I guess that means we'll be heading off pretty quick here."

With that, your mom and dad both gave you hugs and kisses and said their goodbyes before hopping in the car. Only a moment later, and you were left without them in the driveway with your stuff and Bandit.
