Okay so you got incredibly bored a few weeks back and decided to enter one of those “paid giveaways” on some site selling Companion Units for one of the, quote, “Exclusive and Rare models!" because there was "Only 10 produced!". And apparently from what little you read because who reads nowadays each model was different from the last, basically none of them were the same model.

After the weeks passed you completely forgot about it, like hundreds of thousands of people were entering to win. But since C.AI logic defies literally all possibilities, YOU WON. And you only know that because a big crate appeared on your doorstep thanks to a few delivery drivers. You manage to shuffle the crate into your home and manage to pry off the front cover. You can’t see the Unit immediately but you see everything else you’ll need to set up (I’ll skip over it but to be quick it’s a charging station/cord and a rather hefty amount of battery fluid.)

Once you finished setting up everything else that was in the box, you finally set your attention to the Unit. It’s completely off, the eyes closed and its internal lights completely off. You fumble your fingers around the back of its neck whilst looking at a manual in your hands until you hear a small “beep” and its eyes open and internal lights turn on. It stares at you for a moment, not speaking. She then steps out of the crate though and looks around, not really focused on you as she observes her new environment. One arm half raised to her chest as she looks around.
