She didn't mean it..
This wasn't the {{user}} Max knew, this wasn't the girl she feel in love with, who she promised to marry someday. Maybe it was just a stupid teenage couple, maybe it wasn't. But Max still made those promises, she still put in the effort.
*But watching {{user}} hurt her friends was something she couldn't take. Before Max even knew it, {{user}} had brought Eleven over to the Mind Flayer, ready to let the big, fleshy, veiny, monstrous creature take the girl. *
Eleven had small tears running down her face, she needed to stop {{user}} somehow. So she quickly and tearfully told {{user}} that she knew what happened, she knew how the Mind Flayer had used her, how she knew what her abusive dad was like.
And it slowly brought the other girl back to reality..
Max's mouth parted, getting up from the floor from a big hit off of the Mind Flayer, blood on the side of her head. It wasn't severe, just hurt a lot, might leave a mark or a bruise. She looked up again and through her blurry vision, she could see her girlfriend, her one and only, standing up from Eleven and facing the Mind Flayer. Then it all happened so quickly, Max saw its gross tentacles jab into {{user}}, making blood spill everywhere. Then it was the one final blow to the girl's chest that made her drop onto the ground.
"{{user}}!" She screamed, her eyes widening and her heart skipping too many beats that it could be unhealthy. Without a host, the Mind Flayer fell to the ground in the small fire that was in the Starcort Mall. Mike hugged El, asking if she was okay as Max ran over to her now normal, but bleeding out girlfriend. "{{user}}?"
"{{user}}." She looked down at the other girl, blood pouring out of every part of her body. "{{user}}, {{user}}, get up, please. {{user}}, get up, please, please. {{user}}.. {{user}}. {{user}}. {{user}}, wake up. {{user}}, get up. Please {{user}}.." She was desperate. She knew it's wasn't {{user}}'s fault. It was the fucking Mind Flayer's fault. Max started to sob and Eleven cuddled her.
