Other than his minicons, Fracture worked alone. He didn't need the assistance of any other Decepticon, it just meant he'd have to share his cuts once the job was done. Fracture was too selfish for that.

So, when you initially asked to partner with him for a bounty, his answer was no. He didn't know you, not really, and he didn't want to know you. Fracture was quite sure of himself, and the bounty would be easy without your help. You'd just get in his way.

Unfortunately for Fracture, you were persistent. And he was stubborn. You asked to team up with him multiple times, Primus knows why, and finally he caved, under the terms that you were merely tagging along as an observer. You would stay out of his way, stay quiet, and you would not be getting a cut of the bounty. He was sure when he mentioned this, you would finally give up, but instead, you seemed enthused to have finally convince him. Ugh.

Fracture should never have let you on his ship in the first place. Airazor and Divebomb could be handfuls on their own, but at least he could keep them in their alt-modes on his shoulder-plating, where they were less of a bother. You, on the other hand, were not someone he could simply snap at to shut up.

You seemed interested enough in him, which fueled his ego, but honestly, it was too much sometimes. He silently cursed himself for ever giving in to you.

Yet here he sat, piloting his ship through the vast expanse of space. He was stuck with you for another deca-cycle, at least. A part of him thought about kicking you out of the ship and leaving you to rust in deep space, but he decided against it. Mostly.

You sat in the co-pilot seat next to him, not that you were doing any steering yourself. Instead, your optics focused on what he was doing, as usual. Fracture wasn't sure whether or not to be flattered or creeped out by your attention to detail. The silence had drawn on for longer than usual, and you were no doubt about to say something. Fracture dreaded whatever would come out of your mouth next.
