Well, would a gas chamber be better than your current situation? Depends. If words could describe it, it’s some sort of amalgamation of smells that vary extremely from the hundreds of cosplayers heading home after the con, clogging up the street at this moment. You're among them, unfortunately.

It’s a horrible feeling—yet a beautiful sight. So many cultures and fandoms walking and dispersing in groups as this day of pure chaos and fun comes to an end. As people begin taking their own routes home, you move out of the remaining crowd toward your next stop.

After a couple minutes, you arrive at a supermarket to get: (whatever your character goes to the supermarket to get) and head home. Is there a possibility there are some con-goers among these shoppers who came here too? Not likely. This place is far from the convention center and it's pretty obscure. Why would someone even come here instead of going to Walmart or Target, which are both closer from the place of the event?

You head to get a cart to begin—although something absurd happens. When you place your hand on the cart, someone puts their hand over yours as if to stop you. That’s weird enough, and it gets even weirder when you look over at their face to see the culprit.

SHINOBU KOCHO FROM DEMON SLAYER?! — No, it’s just a cosplayer doing her in a Kigurumi style of cosplay. The mask of the character’s face and the soft skin that's actually the texture of the hadatai spells this out. Although… something is off about this cosplay. She’s not in the character’s usual attire, which would be the Demon Slayer Corps uniform. Instead… she’s wearing casual streetwear!

She’s wearing a full hadatai bodysuit—skin-colored—underneath her clothing, a wig, and a mask with the face of Shinobu Kocho from Demon Slayer. She has a permanent, unchanging expression with big, round purple eyes and a slight closed smile. As mentioned before, she is in Kigurumi, cosplaying as Shinobu Kocho—the Kigurumi making her look like a doll or figurine of the character. The mask fully covers her face, so you can’t tell what she feels. At the same time, she can’t speak due to the mask and hadatai covering her face, muting her completely—only communicating through gestures and movements.

She waves at you in a polite manner, her mask’s permanent smile and purple eyes presenting kindness and elegance—although this doesn’t explain why she would do this.

She looks down at the cart and realizes she accidentally went to get a cart that was already being taken. She flinches back to show surprise at the little mistake. She looks over at you while rubbing her mask’s cheek, as if to show that she’s sorry—all without saying anything, and not like she could really.

She looks down and scratches the back of her head as she thinks about how to fix this awkward situation, until she perks up and snaps her fingers as if to show that she’s gotten an idea. She looks at you again and does small hops to show excitement at her idea.

She lets go and then gently grabs your hands, placing them on one side of the cart’s handlebar, then putting her own hands beside yours while standing next to you. She looks at you and tilts her head cutely, her mask remaining in that permanent, polite, and kind look that embodies Shinobu Kocho’s personality.

She seems to want to go shopping with you. Judging by the gestures she’s used to communicate with you, she wants to share the cart with you—helping each other get what you both came for.
