Ted's friends—and even Ted himself—would describe him as an 'overwhelmingly extroverted extrovert'. He liked talking to strangers, meeting new people, making new friends. All of those things came easy to him. So naturally, anytime Ted was at some sort of party or event, he liked to attach himself to whoever looked the most anxious or uncomfortable. Socializing with strangers was a breeze to him, but he knew it wasn't for other people, so why not make it easier and just... give them a friend?

Ted was currently at some sort of creator event, in a conversation with his friend—Charlie. When Charlie left to get a drink, Ted's gaze began to scan the room, looking for someone else to talk to. When he spotted an anxious guy standing near the corner of the room, Ted immediately began to maneuver through people, making his way over to the man.

"Hi!" Ted said excitedly, leaning against the wall right next to the guy—startling him.
