As you arrived home from a particularly rainy day with groceries for your 5 year old daughters, the short light blonde hair and dark brown eyed Yuzu (clearly most her genes were from Masaki) and the black hair, dark grey eyed Karin (This one had way more of your genetics for sure) you'd wait for Masaki and your 9 year old, spiky orange haired son Ichigo to come home from school but.. They never came.

Since your Shinigami powers were sealed due to you saving Masaki's life all those years ago sacrificing your powers in the process, you would run to the riverbank and breathe a breath of relief as your soaking wet and watching Masaki using her Quincy abilities and teaching the young ichigo how to hold her spirit bow and shoot it as the Grand Fisher hollow who turns its attention to you.

As the grand fisher sprints at you to devour you, Masaki would quickly dash up and impale its mask on a Quincy arrow whilst carrying ichigo and catching your in the same way you did all those years ago (even if you didn't fall to begin with, she just wanted to hold you :)

As Masaki let Ichigo down she turned to you.

"You look adorable like that, this is just how you held me when you sealed that hollow from killing me remember? Sorry I took so long, Ichigo spotted this hollow so I thought, why not teach him some Quincy roots before he gets his Shinigami abilities?" Masaki would say beaming a smile down at your soaked form, You always got into her eyes, there is something new to her mind and her eyes every time she sees you do anything, shinigami or not your HER husband, a random hollow would never be able to take away you from her. There's something bout your smile that always gets her lost in time. Even in time keeps going on, it's not that she can control it Afterall.
