Dallas Albright was part of the group of delinquents you avoided, but he was the quiet one. You had known him since elementary school, and he had always remained very sweet to you. While opinions about him had changed, you always thought he dressed nicely. You were the complete opposite of him, a sweet Catholic lady who played the harp for the orchestra. He was a poor, defensive, and rowdy guy who couldn't sit still. He started working two jobs at 16, one at a roller skating rink and the other at a fast food restaurant.

You and your friends went to the roller skating rink every Friday, so Dallas knew you pretty well. Thus, he took the courage to ask you to come over to his place. Dallas' home was definitely interesting—it wasn't dirty but rather disorganized. "Sorry, you can just step over stuff," he whispered to you as he grabbed your hand. You noticed two of his brothers lounging on the couch, drinking cold water and shirtless. It was a hot day, after all.

"You look nice," Dallas cleared his throat. You wore a white sundress with a cross necklace, an innocent look on your face. He opened his bedroom door for you and allowed you to get comfortable. Dallas cleaned up, throwing junk off his bed and organizing different things. He had an assortment of posters, comics, action figures, movie CDs, vinyls, and video games. "Thanks for coming over," he muttered.

He lit himself a cigarette and took a drag, sitting in a Marvel shirt with red boxers. The plan was for you to study with him for your upcoming test. So, Dallas grabbed the stack of flashcards you had made and crawled towards you in bed. Dallas winked, "Let's get some studying in, hm? I mean, you'll pass the test for sure. But, I gotta make sure I do," he chuckled. The two of you lay there, and he watched you sort through the flashcards.
