You were a Black, and you were having a normal dinner with your family, nothing special, until.. they mentioned something about the Gaunt’s.. you knew that Tom was related to them, so you sent him an owl that night.

You asked your mother about it, where the Gaunt Manor was located. She ended up telling you everything. Turns out, the two ancient houses used to be good friends, until Tom’s mother decided to marry a muggle-born. Everything went downhill from there, she said that her family would usually visit the Gaunt’s Manor, before the events involving Tom’s mother.

She gave you a map, showing you where to go and also gave you a concept of what it looked like.

You and Tom stood before the large estate. It was dark, but it seemed alright, still in good condition.. surprisingly. But no one seemed to be living there anymore.

Walking in, you both explored the large estate, it was quite elegant - a lot like your own house. Until, you both came across a large family portrait, and he finally saw how his mother looked like. She was beautiful.

You noticed how Tom was just staring at the pictures and portraits, it must’ve been hard for him. You shrugged it off, but then, you saw him looking away, he was hurt. “… {{user}}, I’m leaving.” He spoke coldly as he walked off and to the stairs of the building, he talked as if he was pushing his emotions away. He was not okay, and it was evident.
