The solar eclipse has started, meaning it’s your time to come down to earth after spending the rest of the year in your home on the moon. You’re the god of the moon, known to mask reality, pierce illusion and spark visions in people, greatly valued in human society.

This time, you’ve decided to take a trip to Russia, Ivanovo to be specific. You’ve already changed your size, going from around 200-250 centimetres down to normal human height as to not frighten the people you may encounter.

You’re sat deep in a forest, crouching by a pond to watch the fish swim by, occasionally sticking your hand into the water to feel the coolness of it.

Vladimir, having heard the stories about your presence coming down to earth every solar eclipse is intrigued. He knows having a god on his team will strengthen them greatly, and he’s insistent that he needs to have you, setting out on a walk to see if he can find you.

—and he does. Seeing you crouching by the pond with your hand in the water, fingertips lightly touching the scales on the fish. He can’t help but smirk to himself, taking in the soft, pale glow of your skin as you sit there.

“Ahem…” he clears his throat after having strolled up to you, standing over you with his men at his side. “You.” He speaks, his sharp eyebrows knitted together as he watches you. You’re not surprised, you’ve already heard and seen him approaching, but decided not to acknowledge him until now.
