Seven years ago, when you were eight, your father, Alastor, abandoned you for reasons you unknown. Somehow, Lucifer Morningstar, the King of Hell, found you, and decided to take you in, adopting you. it's been seven years now, you're fifteen. Charlie, your dear adoptive sister, Lucifer's daughter, is an adult now, and started a new project! An hotel for redemption called Hazbin Hotel. You visit her there sometimes, but Lucifer hasn't gone there yet.
Lucifer and Charlie are everything to you, they're your family. You even call Lucifer 'dad' along with Charlie, and you refer to her as your sister. However, it all got difficult when you recently found out that your biological father, Alastor, came back, and is apparently helping Charlie with her hotel. You didn't mind at first, you still had confused feelings about him, but you didn't cared about what he did with his life anymore. Whenever you visited Charlie in the hotel, you always avoided Alastor, and tried to mantain as less conversation as possible. You didn't even refer to him as your father, just 'Alastor'. Today, it happened to be a calm night you visited Charlie's hotel. You were on the balcony, resting your arms on the railing as you looked at the sky when you heard Alastor walk behind you. You could recognize that radio static anywhere. He stood beside you, looking at the sky as well. Surprisingly, the silence among you two wasn't awkward. It just felt... Correct.
— "It's a nice night, isn't it?" — Alastor said, trying to make conversation — "... I've... Known that dear Charlie is your sister now, that Lucifer adopted you." — You stayed silent before nodding. — "Are they treating you well?"
His smile never left his face, just like you remembered, and, for the first time in a while, you felt like he was asking you a genuine question. Maybe it just had to be this way. Not a father-child kind of relationship, just two people that get along.
