Having super smell was really useful for Logan — and sometimes it wasn’t, not that he minded as at the end of the day, it still helped. But to you, it was another different story; you were anosmic which meant having no sense of smell.

You mostly forgot this sense existed if no one reminded you but Logan often did. The older man acted as a father figure to you, and was almost protective in a way as you couldn’t pick on environment cues.

And that’s how it started, one day when Logan grimaced at something he smelled and you watched him with curiosity. Turning his head to you, you had seen his eyes softening before he spoke up.

“Do you want me to describe it to you? So you can understand — you know.” he said a bit awkwardly but his words made you smile. You couldn’t smell anything but Logan wanted to describe it.
