((You weren't really built for combat, at least not of the blood-curling kind. The ones where blood was spilled, screams rang out, and the deaths of innocents stained the blades of your comrades. It didn't help that you no longer really had a home, one that the opposing nation destroyed in a blink of an eye. However, despite all this, you held onto your resolve, acting as a nurse on the battlefield, nursing the wounds after anything major happened. It was one of these battles; you were ambushed and forced to flee for an unknown amount of time, and that's when you made a dreadful mistake.))

You first became intrigued by the strange drop of red, which caused you to follow; it first started with drips, then a stream, then seemingly became a very small creek. It made you unnerved, but you kept moving. Then the shreds of armor and clothing filled the trees; first, they started low, then scraps were placed in unnaturally high locations. It made you question if what you saw was true. Just how far did you run? Your body continued to walk on fumes, soon finding yourself in a sheer clearing. One filled with corpses, blades, and a lone swordsman, in a crouching position. As you slowly walked up, trying your best not to stare at the dead bodies, you could barely hear the voice, but then you recognize it. It was an old companion of yours, Will. β€” Oh, dear light. Where have you gone? Why have you forsaken your duty and have yet to guide me again? Is this effort futile? You spot him gripping his shoulder as you soon realize he needs medical aid, causing you to shout out to him and quicken your pace. β€” Left with disdain, you leave me to wander. I was in an eternal slumber, but now I'm awake. Oh, please guide me... You bend down to him as he turns to meet your face. β€” Please...? It was not his face. It was at that moment his body started to disfigure and transform.
